Pockets – Work it Out (Dave Lee Redemption Mix)

The legendary US soul-funk act released three albums on Columbia in the 70s, including the anthem ‘Come Go With Me’. Fast forward to 2021 and the band has come up with a brand new song with a positive message in the shape of gospel-tinged ‘Work It Out’. The Pockets were so impressed with Dave Lee’s remix of ‘Come Go With Me’ on his Remixed With Love project that they asked him to work his magic on their new release. Mr. Lee has managed to tease in some of their classic old sound into the instrumentation.
