Stepping up to re-conduct the AC Soul Symphony is the extremely funktastic Opolopo. Up first, it’s all aboard the AC Express, where he diverts the train through new stations such as Boogie Town, Moog Avenue, Funk Boulevard & Soul Street Plaza. Opolopo then takes an AC fan favourite ‘Windy City’ to the dancefloor, upping the tempo, adding in layers of boogiefied synths and giving the soulful heart of the track a nice glow up. On the flip is Opolopo’s epic take on the ‘Six Billion Dollar Man’, giving it a true Scandinavian space disco sound. Upgrading the arpeggios & sci-fi fx’s to 11 all whilst letting the sublime string sections take centre stage, where they should be with any AC Soul Symphony track. Better, Stronger, Faster…
